I would like to start my first message to you by thanking you for electing me your Chapter President. As you already know we are in a transition period as a nation and as Chapter. Many of our members are from different times of War and different periods of service in our Army. As Green Berets we make up the best of what our Army, our military, and our great nation have to offer.
I want to continue with that tradition and I also want to reaffirm with you our goals and objectives for the Chapter during my term as President.
We are going to provide the best support possible to Active Duty, Army Reserve, Army National Guard, and Retired Special Forces Soldiers and their families living within the Chapter’s area of responsibility.
We are going to promote Chapter programs that advance and support the professional and educational mission and objectives of Special Forces and the Special Forces Association (SFA).
We are going to increase and retain Chapter and SFA membership.
We are going to promote Service, corporate, and individual involvement in our Chapter activities.
We will continue to promote and host local and national programs that support our Wounded Warrior.
We will partner, whenever possible, with other SFA Chapters, military fraternal organizations, the Services, and business to best support and achieve our common goals and objectives.
We will continue to create an increased awareness associated with the benefits of belonging to the SFA and help educate local government and business on the mission and objectives of our Chapter and the SFA.
We will manage Chapter operations and implement programs diligently to maintain the high standards associated with being a Chapter of Excellence.
We will present to the Chapter membership at our Chapter meetings prominent guest speakers who will provide informative talks and presentations.
We will provide mentoring and professional guidance to our younger SFA Soldiers by actively engaging our older seasoned members in joint activities that will further empower our younger members in preparation of becoming the leadership of tomorrow.
We will continue to uphold and hold close the precepts and ideals that make Special Forces 'Special'.
